Maybe I don’t fully understand how the World Bank works, but why does the US get to nominate the head of the World Bank?? Shouldn’t the world do that??

And we just happen to have Broadway in our country, so we win.
Actually, it’s tradition because the US funds the World Bank more than any other country. However, the WB could reject Zoellick if they want to. About time somebody tells W “no” on something.
