I’m holding out for a hero til’ the end of the night
After a month off, Heroes was back on the air last night. It’s well written and is a great story. The only flaws are that the show can be slow at times and there are a lot of characters, which makes it harder to really learn about or care about the characters (sort of the same problem as Lost - too many different little sub-plots). But over all its a great show.
More importantly, it’s a new show that is not a reality show. And I’ve noticed that there seem to be less new reality shows being released. And this a good thing. We may finally be exiting the era of reality TV. Which is good, because all reality TV shows are the same. Take beautiful people whose personalities won’t mesh well, put them in situations that in no way mirror reality and let them interact, with the intention of having them form factions and hate each other.
Heroes is my hero for helping to erase the reality TV era.
