God forbid you actually have to spend time with your kids. (On another note, I can’t believe that this mom CHEATED AT A BOARD GAME WITH HER CHILD in order to get it over with quicker. What kind of lesson is that?!?!?!?!)

Shit like this is why America’s future is slowly being flushed down the toilet. Parents are so wrapped up in their own crap that they can’t find the time to spend with their kids. The kids end up being raised by their Xbox and by Johnny Knoxville (one of the jackasses behind Jackass).

Spend some damn time with your children.

I can’t believe this dude/chick is still on American Idol.  (Honestly, I can’t believe that I am watching American Idol.)

And it’s thanks to websites like this one.

Vote For the Worst needs to be stopped.  I can’t take any more Sanjaya.  Evey time I see him/her, the battle in my head rages: Is that a girl or a guy??

Honestly, I do feel bad for this she-male, since he/she is basically famous for being made fun of on TV and across the Internet.  Then again, based on his/her reactions on the show, he/she may be oblivious to it all.

Either way, Sanjaya must go.

Some people will believe anything you tell them.

I’m not even sure I know what to say about this.

After watching Snakes on a Plane last night, I decided to wait before positng my thoughts on it, since I couldn’t believe what I had just watched. I figured that if I waited until today and let things marinate, I might be able to articulate my thoughts on this movie.

Not the case.

In fact, I don’t think that there is anything I can say about this movie that will do it justice. It ranges from the absolutely absurd (one dude gets bitten on the penis; hundreds of exotic, poisonous snakes end up on a plane, etc.) to the comically bad (anything that comes out of Samuel L. Jackson’s mouth). And yet, the actors and the director were somehow able to combine the most ridiculous plot with laughably bad acting and make a movie that is not entirely terrible. Don’t get me wrong, this will never win any kind of award, but it’s not horrible.

Who knew that I would enjoy Snakes on a Plane this much??

I feel the need to somment, but I might have to wait until the morning to do so.

UCLA knocked out Kansas this evening.  While it doesn’t hurt me too bad (I had Kansas losing to Florida in the next round), it does make the Florida game MUCH more interesting for me, since I have them as my champion and the guys I’m in a pool with have UCLA as thier champion.  Basically, if Florida wins, I pretty much lock up the pool.

I can’t handle that kind of stress.

Last week, I blogged on the beauty of March Madness.

Tonight was the epitome of March Madness. Texas A&M (who I had in my championship game) was playing Memphis. Normally, I wouldn’t care about this game. But, if A&M lost, I would be seriously hurt in my pool. So in the last 2 minutes of the game, I was completely filled with nervous energy, excited when A&M scored and crying out in horror when they failed to rebound. Then, with one free throw, I went from nervous excitment to complete depression and anger.

All for a sport and a game I normally don’t care about.

I think that if college football could get its act together and put on a tournament, then I’d care more about the bowl games that my team was not in. AS of now, I really don’t give a crap who plays in the Insight.com bowl or the Emerald bowl.

You wouldn’t have to ask me twice.  I’d take the money and walk.  And I’d probably take a lot less than that kid was offered.
