Uma Thurman, David Carradine, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah
Finally got to see the second installment of Kill Bill.
I can safely say that Tarantino is my favorite director. He just makes bad ass movies.
Granted, this was not as good as Vol. 1, but it’s still a great movie. I love Michael Madsen and still can’t believe that was actually Daryl Hannah in this movie. Looks nothing like she did in Splash. (Maybe that’s because she doesn’t have a giant fish tail and isn’t topless through half the movie.
I again loved the way Tarantino mixes in the references and homage’s to old martial arts movies. Brilliant move.
I did think the final fight between Bill and Kiddo was a bit anti-climactic (especially after the ending fight in the first one). But it’s still a rewatchable movie.

I have to admit a little bit of boredom with vol. 2. It was still good, but after the Lucy Liu/Uma Thurman battle (two of my absolutel favourites), I was hoping for some more ass-kicking…

Yeah. Given the awesome ending of Vol. 1, I expected a much cooler showdown between Bill and The Bride. Oh well.
